网友的第1个问题，是把宾格代词跟物主代词混淆了。也就是说，us children 跟our children不是一回事，意思相差甚远！
下面是以前我给网友解答的一个问题，相信对你会有帮助的。
For our students 还是 For us students?
【问】有一次，我们翻译这样一个句子：“图书馆里有没有我们学生阅读的英语小说？”多数学生都翻译为：Are there any English story-books for our students in the library? 但老师说我们错了。请问这是怎么回事？
【答】你说的这个英语句子没有语法错误，但是它与实际汉语意思不相符。问题在于，for our students 不正确，应改为 for us students. 这是因为，our是物主代词作定语，意为“我们的”；us 是宾格代词，和students 是同位语，共同作 for的宾语。
因此，如果是你们学生问图书馆理员的话，那么就应该说：
Are there any English story-books for us students in the library?（学生语）
如果是老师问图书管理员的话，那么就应该说：
Are there any English story-books for our students in the library?（老师语）
关于物主代词和人称代词容易混淆的几种情况，我们再举一些例句，以示区别：
(1) A. We young people should do what the Party calls on us to. (我们青年人：我们=青年人)
B. Our young people should do what the Party calls on them to. (我们的青年人：我们≠青年人)
(2) A. These books are very useful for you children. (对孩子讲的)
B. These books are very useful for your children. (对父母讲的)
